What TheChef said.

For years we'd been crying out for some kind of technological help like this and when it arrived, it's utter schite.

People still talk about VAR as thought it's electronically automated. It's not, it's bumbling idiots in a room drawing lines with microsoft paint across a screen. So, the human element is still involved and clearly shown to be utterly incapable and not seemingly able to handle the pressure.

It has to work, 100%, or not at all. Try telling Huddersfield fans any different.

The word 'gullible' doesn't exist in the English Oxford Dictionary.

*pedant warning* - "8 track" doesn't refer specifically to the number of songs contained (though, of course, it can hold eight if they all fit as it's capacity was around eighty minutes of music). It's the number of channels available i.e. stereo would be two.

But yes, hearing the same 8 christmas songs on loop all day would do the same to me too!

Can you imagine working in a superstore like Sainsbury's, Tesco etc where it's Christmas music all day long for weeks on end. Guantanamo Bay is Hotel Paradise by comparison.

Nobody ever said "Play it again, Sam" in the film Casablanca.

My god, someone is touchy and defensive!! And again with the snide jibes.

I wasn't even talking about you (not everything is about you). You said "it's not what's said but who's saying it that matters" and I was generalising a point that if people deliberately behave in a certain way then they, and only they, are accountable and shouldn't be surprised if people take them to task over it. The issue isn't with others, it's with them.

I don't know about here in the UK but it's a real problem in the US and colleagues of mine who deal with them really suffer with this. A lot of it is to do with the nature that employees there are so unprotected compared to us and they are schit scared of losing their job so it becomes a very toxic environment.

As with a lot of things, stuff from the US then follows on over here.

I use the word 'acountability' again. When are people going to stop looking to blame others for their own behaviour?

Its called accountability.

If the same people are going to keep throwing grenades into the room then don’t be surprised when they’re taken to task over it.

As Yazz once sang…….

That table at the top is skewed in the sense it includes games in any division so teams promoted will always be higher.
It should only be for Championship games.

Not sure i’d be clicking on any links from a post resurrected from 11-12 years ago!

Got two kids since I posted on this and not been back to Turkey. Spain a couple of times and Greece a few times, all with the kids but I’m sure Turkey is still fine.
