 | News Comment | Linington in charge on Boxing Day - Referee at 10:18:42
Santa has arrived early and brought us the best referee for what I believe will be a tough physical match. Portsmouth should be happy with the appointment too, with that record when he has been in charge. Hopefully we can stuff their turkey. Ho ho ho! |
 | News Comment | Six adrift, no home win, fan revolt, Norwich bin fire well ablaze – Oppo Focus at 10:28:55
It's a scary fixture. Team in poor form, especially at home and in relegation trouble, with lots of players struggling to fit in and new manager v team with btb wins, unbeaten in three and confidence and performance on the up but with a day less recovery and all the travelling in the legs. Mmm. |
 | News Comment | Town’s four-star Halloween fright night leaves Rangers reeling – Report at 09:51:50
Excellent, as balanced as possible, report. A couple of points though. The ref seemed to have a change of interpretation of pushing at half time. After allowing Ipswich to push everyone at will, in the first half, he then penalises Hayden, in a critical position of the pitch, for the first push in the second half. Not saying we would have got anything from the game but we had been doing okay since equalising. That decision led to the game turning moment. Throw ins! I sit in SA Rd so I'm not sure whether Furlong was offending or not. However, I feel most of us may not understand what 'foot position' constitutes a foul throw. There was an explanation on here a few years ago, which seemed to indicate most of us had been coached incorrectly as young kids. From law 15 The Throw In. The thrower must: have part of each foot on the touchline or on the ground outside the touchline. |

Have Cooke and Hayden got another 90 mins in them? We haven't really got an option with Steve but I'd expect Varane to start in midfield. Akindelini on the bench. |
 | News Comment | QPR: The Modern Circus of West London – Column at 11:00:21
Nice piece, well researched and has our DNA throughout it. Thank you, as I plan my long range trip through roadworks, holiday makers and festival goers to get to our spiritual home in time for Saturday 3pm, when I can be a live part of it all again. |
 | News Comment | Keep Calm and carry on – Preview at 10:02:54
Mr Christian Noury, Mr Lee Hoos and anyone else in the clubs hierarchy and owners, read the words that Clive has written and feel some shame. Let them sink in, show some remorse, stop treating us with contempt and vow to do better, to be more open and honest in the future. |
 | News Comment | More injuries and home woes for QPR against form Swans – Report at 10:33:40
Thanks again Clive. Although he had very few options, that team selection had no shape and very little idea. I agree with Myke, Morrison had an unusually poor game. Error prone and only ever looking one way when bringing the ball out. Sutton, eager to get on the ball was largely starved of it, as we continually went down the right. The substitutions improved things but were far too late. 25 minutes of the first half should have been enough. Everything you said about the referee plus the repetitive fouling by Swansea and him leaving his cards in the dressing room. From his record, I was expecting a half decent referee, who wasn't afraid to enforce discipline. What I got was a whistle happy buffoon. |
 | News Comment | ‘In a word, dull’, Preston’s midtable purgatory continues – Oppo Profile at 11:27:11
Thanks Josh. You seem to be a bit steadier mid table than us. Just the occasional scent of the top six. Whereas, we wildly fluctuate between being almost certainly relegation bound, to then storming up the table before gently sliding back towards 16th, nervously looking over our shoulder whilst wondering if the storming was strong enough. Enjoy your summer and we'll see you again next season. |
