Agree Kemper was great but he's been out for two months, so not match fit, and he pulled his groin or something before HT. As I said in a previous post, I was surprised to see him after HT.
The best way not to lose our remaining games is to manage certain players to try and avoid more injuries. |

All this throw your eggs in one basket and not think the next basket might be empty , doesn't seem very real to me.
I agree we weakened our team with the subs but it had to be done.
It's a 46 game league season, we've already got multiple injuries and we need to try and manage our resources. |

With the way the fixtures have have been crammed into the first two months of this season, it is really difficult to know how many of the injuries are due to the old failings.
If there is any improvement in that area of the club, it could well be undone by fixture congestion.
Refs aren't always helping either. For example the battering that Smyth took on Friday might have been lessened if yellow card was out earlier. |

Ask a player if he wants to stay on? Unless he's in pain or he's a lazy mercenary he is inevitably going to say yes. Then he pushes it too hard and could be out for weeks.
Btw Kemper had already had one injury scare in the first half. |

It was in the latter stages of the first half and looked like a pull in the top of the thigh or groin. He was hobbling a bit and holding his thigh a bit. I was surprised he made the second half. He did seem to be ok after HT but it was the correct decision to sub him. I hope there's not a reaction and he is ok for Wednesday. |

I actually had a fair bit of confidence that he was going to save that last night.
He doesn't take any nonsense from players trying to get him to commit and move early. He waits, they don't like it and then take a shot that is well within his ability to save. He can get down and across his line with great agility. |

I agree with the first bit and partly with the second. He did give the ball away too many times but did try and battle the centre backs. He didn't wilt and it was a really tough ask up there on his own. I'd stretch to a six for him. |

Digging in nonsense as usual. Never, ever accepting opposite views. No chance of changing your views, is there?
If the manager had left Kemper on and he had broken down and missed future games, especially with Cirkin banned, he would have been hammered. If Smyth had stayed on he would have had less chance of being fit for upcoming matches. If Scarlett has to start on Wednesday, you will be the first to moan.
