A lot of gushing over Burnley on here and on Twitter from QPR fans. Certainly there seems to be more goodwill towards them from other clubs' fans than to us, and to an extent I get it. And all of the things we want for our club - stability, a bright young manager and home grown players fighting for the shirt - Burnley seem to have......and yet they are still in the relegation zone with us. Despite our constant shooting ourselves in the foot, they are only a few points better off than us.
So, if a time comes where the general consensus is that QPR is a well run stable club, what will that mean for you? Is it being in a similar position but with less debt and running costs? Is it spending a load of wedge like we have recently but with slightly better results? Is it being a decent Championship side? What do we honestly expect the end result of "rebuilding" the club to be? If it's 4 or 5 years of restructuring in the championship followed by a season in the Premiership doing a Burnley then I'm not sure it's worth it |  | | |
