I've done Arizona, It's an amazing state, I never had enough time there, I did manage to spend time visiting the ancient Indian burial grounds which used to fascinate me having read books about the different tribes that used to live there and how dreadfully they were treated.
There are National parks In abundance in Arizona and endless walking trails and historic museums.
The grand canyon Is a bit meh, when I got there and paid the entrance fee It reminded me of bloody Thorpe Park.
Plenty of desert trails, plenty of Hippies plenty of canyons.
Stay somewhere near but not In Flagstaff on Interstate 40, Flagstaff Is about 3 hours from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, just under 11 hour flight direct from Gatwick. |

I'd love to have spent a couple of hours sat In armchairs talking to Tony Benn and Arthur Scargill, just the Three of us talking about the history of British working class, I'd have found that fascinating, I would have been In my element.
To have spent time In my Man cave with Jimi Hendrix and Paul Kossoff, amplifiers warmed up and just trying to put some musical shit together with three of the biggest spliffs smouldering In the background, get the fck out of here, Hey Joe.
I so wanted to make the Everest base camp after my eldest Lad did, alas the beat up old Biman Bangladesh Airline Boeing 737 couldn't land in Kathmandu airport. because of a storm, Won't happen now. (I did get to see the Mount Everest peak at about 05.00 hrs one morning flying over Northern Pakistan on my way to Bangladesh, It was awesome with the sun rising behind It). |

I didn't watch the British Post Office scandal ITV programme.
I have however been watching the statutory inquiry, It beggars belief, the scandal has been called the UK's most widespread miscarriage of justice, I believe the police are still investigating, with fingers crossed prosecutions happening In 2028, Far-far too late. |

We haven't taken a half decent corner since Trevor Sinclairs up at Huddersfield In the dying seconds one cold January night and Alan McDonald subsequently headed the ball into the net winning us the game.
Now when we get a corner and everyone gets excited I just sit there half asleep, sometimes fully asleep. |

Plymouth already In the relegation zone and the last place you want to be over the Xmas period Is In the relegation zone.

I don't know If we have a set piece coach at the club, what I do know Is that whenever we get a corner Instead of getting all excited like I used to back In the 1970's and 1980's I start yawning and stretching In the manner of a huge Male lion just about to take a kip In the Serengeti afternoon sunshine after eating an unfortunate wildebeest.
I was under the missguided impression that we do have a defensive coach who Is the only football coach In the entire solar system who Is allowed to have the day off on the most Important footballing day In the footballing weekly calendar vis-à-vis Saturday.
There Is some strange title for someone who does some sort of strange training thing at the club by allegedly organising training sessions for our footballers and canteen staff, I think his ridiculously long title Is *Head Of Methodology Studies and Life Sciences: The study of living organisms (e.g., biology and delicious snacks)* |

I dare you to watch Norwich's first and second goal again, our defending was an accumulation of blokes looking around at each other wondering what or who Is supposed to do something of a defensive nature.

People have a right to moan, there's a positive and a negative to most things nowadays.
Today we got a negative, next week we might well get another one.
We're not a top six club and probably not a top ten club either.
I always thought of saying If we'd won this or drawn that then we'd be higher up the league as nonsense.
Basically as a club we're comfortably numb and will probably remain so. |
