No it was a 1972 film starring Carol White. In one scene she walks up the road (SA) pushing a pushchair when a 70s football skirmish breaks out and she gets caught up. Spookily I think we were playing Bristol City in the scene.

Phwoar.

Hammersmith gal, drank and drugged herself to an early death I'm sad to say.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

I remember that Sea Cadet place up on the Portland Bill, just up the hill from where the ferries used to come in. I was at TS Pelican Sea Cadets in Ruislip in my youth. What unit were you based at Hopphoops?

I was a sponsored student engineer for the MOD for nine months between school and university, based in Plymouth at what was then the Royal Naval Engineering College. Straight out of school we discovered an institution with bar tabs and a pint at 40p, spirits at 20p a shot (this being 1990).

We were sent on trips to dockyards, naval bases etc. At Portland we spent a day on a merchant navy tanker doing refueling exercises. Then they opened the bar, which being offshore was cheaper again - something like 12p a pint. At midnight they brought us ashore completely sloshed, in a javelin on quite rough seas. Still in uniform we found the nearest fun-pub still open, which I think may have been Britain's first ever flat-roofed pub: https://www.google.com/maps/@50.5630531,-2.449368,3a,75y,10.34h,97.29t/data=!3m6

I was a bona fide alcoholic by 19. And the whole place is now a detention centre for asylum seekers i think.

A magnificent football club, the love of our lives, finding a way to finally have its day in the sun.
Poll: When will the next election date be announced?

According to this post the football scenes in 'Made' were filmed in Charlton:

7 green bottles

My mum worked at Stanford house the same time that was made 75 and a mate was sent there for a while, a bit of a holiday camp really.

But lots of abuse allegations followed
