It was in jest. I’m 100% for safe standing but had a laugh today on the more old school version. Wish it could be like that everywhere but I’m relatively young, fit and strong and imagine some were a bit fearful when we scored of being jumped on by some 35 stone skinhead.

Time was when it was an unwritten rule that you clapped the oppo keeper onto the pitch and after that it was mainly harmless banter to the keeper, apart from the weird diversion into the terrible "you're sh*t aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh" chant at every poxy goal kick. (Seaman when playing for Arsenal an obvious exception.)
I'm genuinely struggling to remember an opposing keeper who I really disliked, unlike outfield players where there must be at least one **** in every team every season.
