99% of healthcare workers comply with 99% of what they're asked to do for the good of patients. Now and again there is someone who decides to push the system, 99% of the time the system has to bow to them as they have a point.

In this instance, it’s someone being a dick.
When it’s a scenario that potentially endangers lives, I prioritise that over fashion sense, religious belief and pretty much anything really. If there was no chance of him harming anyone, including himself, I’d 100% back his right to go to work with a beard. I’m sure the health board would too. |  | | |
