Good condition pre WW2 are going for £199. I also noticed late 40's and 50s have increased a lot recently -doubled in the case of 50's programmes -you used to be able to get mid-fifties for 4-5 pounds appear higher now

I don't know many that would pay £200 for late 30's programmes. £100 is about right.
I bought that there same handbook six weeks ago for £4.50. In fact I paid £18.02 for four handbooks 1947/48 to 1950/51. They’re great reading if you like that sort of thing. Stories such as the two big-band leaders who organised their concerts to coincide with Rs home and away games.
My best find even though I didn’t find it was back in the 90s. Living in West Cornwall my girlfriend at the time came back from a Sunday Morning car-boot sale and said “I’ve got something for you - an old QPR programme”. I thought that’s nice of her to think of me (I rarely went to these early morning boot-sales - too busy nursing a hangover. I wondered how old the programme was and if it was a game I’d been to. When she showed it to me I was “flipping hell how much did you pay for this?” It was a QPR handbook from 1921/22. “I knocked him down to £2.50” she replied. Admittedly a lot of money in 1994. Especially in those parts.
