Irish Rs - What's it like outside? 10:38 - Dec 7 with 4628 viewsMrSheen

Just escaped from Kerry myself last night. Seems like the worst is yet to come. Good luck out there.

Getting what? Inside plumbing?

That's it, I'm out of weather-related threads, if everyone is going to take the piss out of the IOM.

Hello All, First time posting on here, although some of you will know me from the Not606 forum where I have the dubious pleasure or is that honor of being one of the moderators!!!!!

Anyway a report from the sunny South East where today it's anything but sunny....... the rain has been coming in horizontal and we have very high seas pounding the prom in Tramore which is closed to all traffic......

We're also expecting coastal flooding in the low lying areas when we have high tide this evening......

All in all a day to stay in doors and as it's already wine o'clock somewhere in Europe might as well crack open a bottle......

Stay safe.....

Welcome aboard Tramore.
Went there once, summer of 79 whilst visiting with a mate of mine to his family in Waterford.
Seem to remember playing pitch and putt there!

Since I realised you live there, I never flush the toilet over the IOM
when I’m flying to Ireland.

That’s respectful, that is.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I think we've been sheltered from the worst of Barra's barrages here in the irish Midlands (Co. Westmeath), but have a somewhat trepidatious/hopefully not too blowy drive to Kilkenny tomorrow. Galway, Sligo, and Cork all elementally lashed and electrically deprived. The climate is really turning catastrophic.

Poll: What d'ya expect from our last 3 holiday games (WBA(A), Norwich(H), Sheff W(H))?

quite clearly, the ones at the front are pissed off because the one at the back is covered in "Blue ice".

Mick, you're a gentleman, and you're welcome in our airspace anytime.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch.
There was always going to be payback for the weather we got in Ireland mid-July this year.
Never saw anything else but totally blue skies and 30 degrees for the 10 days I was there. Best holiday for a number of years, anywhere let alone Cork.

Poll: With no leg room, knees killing me, do I just go now or stay for the 2nd half o?
