I’m just well impressed at the standard, first time I’ve watched what is classed as womens international football. I doubt many people know or have mates who can play at this standard. Mind you I’m sure it’s going to go all jingoistic this week now after that win, so I hope the English lose their next game. | |

It’s so difficult to keep girls involved in sports. Having role models on ‘free to air’ is really important in promoting aspirations.
