When in the dying seconds of 2nd half injury time, Blackburn, 1-3 up against a side well beaten by that stage, decided to waste a few seconds by bringing on a substitute to........What? Waste a few seconds, just in case?
No sooner had the sub come on, the referee blew the final whistle.
And their fans taunted us with, 'how shit must you be we're winning away.'
How shite was what they did, to bother with wasting mere seconds despite being 1-3 up?

Little appearance fee for him though. Managers will sometimes do that as a thank you, reward etc. Particularly if he's 17 it might actually be quite a substantial amount of money for the kid.
