The point is we were here long before the current owners, even more successful and we will be here long after they are gone. We owe them nothing, to think otherwise is disrespectful of the fan base.

Yanks is what you said. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

And you claimed that all Yanks are "greedy ultra capitalist t@#£%". It's the kind of idiotic bigotry I'd expect from Kilks. Unfortunately for some reason football supporters feel entirely comfortable making generalisations about Americans that for obvious reasons they wouldn't about other groups. Like I said, you let yourself down.

I didn't say all yanks, but I stand by my statement, as a rule most are selfish and greedy, ours fit the bill. This is all about our owners, they don't give a flying f@#£ about our club, resolven slags off the jacks who put their hands in their pockets to keep the club going whilst doting on the owners who disputably taken money out of the club whilst we have slowly declined by their poor running of the club and this latest episode with Martin reaffirms it. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

that's like saying what if the sellouts hadnt,or if I had won the Euromillions and bought us..... we are where we are and without these owners who in recent years have "propped " the club up with "loans" we might be in a different place

It's just as easy to say if they were clued up from the start we may not have been relegated and the loans would not have been needed. As you say, we are where we are. Just one question would you say the club is well run, I'm starting to think otherwise. Just for a start we seem to have been paying an awful lot of money to senior management who seem to have done the square root of F all.

From a financial perspective I think we are being run well though yes the money spent on senior management is questionable. Its hard really as fans we have expectations and would want to see money being thrown to improve the squad but we dont have those sort of monies to compete in the crzy world of football SO to answer your question form a footballing point of view I wouldnt think so and yes I am concerned about the senior management appointments I thought Birch was sound he had a football knowledge whilst also being very business savvy was never sure about Winter and now we have another change or changes which is never a good thing in any business...We are faced with a new CEO/Director of football, chairman, and 1st team manager all at the same time.....it can be worrying. For me we lost a great opportunity when we got to the PL to develop as a club use the academy to develop players and coaches from within the club so there was a continuity and we really need to do things differently to other clubs we didnt and now look where we are. The lack of communication doesnt help so I am unsure how to answer the question ask me again in Septemeber!

Good post. Communication was one of Birch’s strong points. It’s seems our new CEO has it as one of his weaknesses

Club tweets a rather odd statement from Andy Coleman on 10:31 - Jun 3 with 1299 views | sw02sea | “though, yes the money spent on senior management is questionable.” You can say that again! Remember yet another Yank who was “looking to provide funds to improve squad” None other than the man with the silver shiny, New York suit…CHRIS PEARLMAN, who was reportedly on at least £500,000 pa. One of his huge revenue gatherers, was to open a club shop in Union st, only to be closed a short time after. The same old baloney / bullshit, emanating from these “American Investors” as ever. Club tweets a rather odd statement from Andy Coleman on 18:34 - Jun 8 with 1162 views | BillyChong | 1 month and counting since we last heard from the invisible man aka Andy Coleman, Chairman Swansea City AFC. A belter. Where is Andy Coleman?

I can't say that's true. The previus owners would still have been there and they would no doubt have found some other mugs to buya failing EPL club. Maybe they would n't have made so much wonga then though. The owners have done a good job in some respects but their decision making has become far moe clumsy and the recruitment and retention policy semms more like an act of self harm right now.

Yes, but when they do have their eye on the ball they still make poor decisions, or so it seems to me.

Maybe no real interest at all. Comparing our owners to Reynolds and McElhinney and one set are getting everything right but our lot? Poor decision after poor decision. This latest stand off with martin and Saints could cost us dear. It's idiotic. it's like they haven't gt a clue how English football works...oh, hang on
