Beyond the album 'californication' I'm not a massive RHCP fan, but Flea is a fantastic bassist.

Flea's good but RHCP bore the shit out of me now.

When they first showed up with Higher Ground and doing Foxy Lady on Jonathon Ross' old show, I was super into it but they've not put out a banger in decades. It's weird how dull they are. Like a funk version of Pearl Jam really.

Also, John Frusciante is wasted on them. He does some good solo stuff but for RHCP he's just a 10p Jimi Hendrix rip off.

Flea is a good player but a bit samey. Kind of like Mark King.
