Under the proposals to extend the Senedd, where a Senedd member has to resign they will automatically be replaced by their party rather than have a by election. If they are Independent they will not be replaced leaving the constituency with reduced representation.
Section 91. If a vacant seat arises (for example, due to a Member resigning or passing away) under a closed proportional list system we would anticipate that this would be filled through the next candidate on a party’s list gaining that seat. Given that this will be a proportional system, we would see little merit in a by-election being run.

Only once as I am allowed to like everyone else in Wales is allowed to.
I have a registered business address in Wales so can use that postcode. I am after all being affected by the Senedd's decision.
I have also signed the petition "initiate an early Senedd Election" along with 12,809 others .
As you probably realise my reply was a bit facetious, for someone who has a business in Wales you certainly seem to have a totally negative opinion of the country.

Having a negative opinion of the Senedd isn't the same as having a negative opinion of Wales mind, you can have one without the other.
Felix is an obvious tory though.
Lifelong, do yu agree with the proposed changes to elections, that the public won't vote for a candidate but the party and the party will select the replacement if somene retires or leaves? Do you agree with seats being left vacant?

Just noticed your question, just because I support the 20mph speed limit doesn’t mean to say I support everything the Senedd proposes. The short answer to your question is no. As far a Felix is concerned I have never seen him post anything positive about Wales.

I have a very positive view of Wales that is why I have a business here. It is the muppets at the Senedd and Drakeford that I have a negative opinion of.
Signature on Initiative an early Senedd Election 12,907 This petition is the second most signed Senedd petition. Clearly a lot of people have a negative opinion of the Senedd as well.
