You obviously weren't listening properly then. They have done nothing wrong as they've spent 2 of the last 3 seasons in the Premier League. The panel agreed so nothing to see here. Sky trying to make a meal out of the EFL's subsequent announcement that they will be aligning their rules with the PL.

I think what is being said is the Leicester are forecasted to breach this season, but have found a loop hole meaning that they don't have to adhere to an imposed business plan.

The transfer window opens on June 14th. Leicester had already moved their end of their financial year back to 30th June, so they have time to sell someone.

They have a player out on loan at Bologna with an agreed fee. That may be enough to save them.

Could we do the same? Move our Financial Year End out to 30 June from 31 May this year to allow us to, for example, get proceeds from a sale of Chair into the potentially at FFP risk 23/24 Accounts?

We could, but you but you’d not get a good price for any players as it would scream firesale. Anyway, all the noises coming out of the club suggest that we don’t need to.

The "loop hole" being that they have spent 2 out of the last 3 seasons in the PL and therefore are not obliged to work with the EFL on a business plan to mitigate the forecast. The case was referred to an independent panel who found Leicester to be correct. As a result, the EFL now want to change its rule to align with the PL.

Calling for Leicester to be fined based on future financial information is folly. However, today has seen a twist. Having hidden behind PL rules to avoid an EFL business plan, Leicester could now be charged by the PL for breaching P&S during their last 3 seasons in the PL. If they're deducted points it'll likely apply next season, with the PL keen to work with the EFL to ensure any sanction sticks whichever division Leicester play in.
