Alzheimer’s Memory Walk 09:36 - Mar 25 with 1384 viewshantssi

Hi guys, I’ve been meaning to do something for years now as my dad, an avid R’s fan and season ticket holder until the end who got me into the Hoops, passed away some 15 years ago and now with my childhood hero Stans passing has spurred me on do finally do something good.
Any donations gratefully received.

England players not having names on their shirts tonight.
The aim is to draw "attention to how people with dementia lose precious memories, even the names of their favourite football players".

Good luck, mate. A great cause - hope it's a cracking day. Thanks for fund-raising for a very worthy cause.

Thanks Konk and Ted, I’ve already hit my target (it was the minimum to be fair!) after only 2 days and that’s without a penny from my family!!
I’ve walked the Beacons before and loved it, not done Fan y Big (717m) before so a new one to tick off for me!

Hi Simon,
Just donated - all the best.
I'm looking out over the Beacons from my place in Llanfrynach (about 3 miles from Brecon) - there is snow on the top at the moment, but hopefully you'll have clear skies and some sunshine when you get here!

"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.
