Done some asking and Oli McBurnie is most certainly up for a loan back to the UK this window. I’ve been told four Championship clubs are interested. This will all fall on the fee’s involved plus he is on in the region of €36,000 a week. Big numbers but we know how these things can be negotiated.

Do we have the money ?
Yes.

P&S will need to be positive and only the club really know where we are with that at this moment in time, It won’t be massively healthy. Oli has played fourteen games for Las Palmas this season with no return. He has never been a prolific striker, but could he settle into Luke’s team ?

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Hasn’t he gone yet?

One indication would be if he’s stopped from going to the Neds

A Right and Left Fullback that can defend should be a priority. Tymon's first thought is always to go backwards and his effort today was rewarded by Robinson

Another central defender on the move is Tristan Crama who has reportedly just been signed by Millwall from Brentford. He had been on loan at Exeter, where he had done well this season. I guess he was one we could have considered.

Millwall can "afford" to buy Crama due to their sale of 19-yr old Romain Esse to Crystal Palace for a rumoured fee of about £14.5m. Esse's goal contribution with Millwall was 8 goals in 66 senior appearances. Hmm, 19 yrs old, and played 66 1st-team games. Compare that with Swans development program. Both LW & RM, as well as other former Swans managers refuse(d) to give young Swans the opportunities, or at best, very limited 1st team opportunities. With today's performance, do you think that's going to change? Don't count on it. How many of Swans 17-21 yr old players show great promise in U-21 & U-18 teams, only to see atrocious results like there have been in the past few weeks with hardly any call ups? I would like to see more of Swans younger players given 1st team opportunities. You just never know who may rise up so a £14.5m sale is in the offing.

I think that lot up the road were reticent to play Ashford but looks like they could cash in on him in the future.

I don't care if it's a loan at the moment, he certainly looked tidy last night better than anything we have.

I'd be suprised if they let him go, especially with Onana going off injured

Agreed we need players, would be surprised if we got him.

It's like groundhog day all over again though. I fear with the frustration set in already, another window of broken promises after so many promises that they were already working on things wil just deepen the frustration. I think loans are just a short term fix and it frustrated people even further.

We'll probably need another 5/6 wins and I can't see as to where the next point is coming from. we were fg dreadful yesterday, worse than dreadful.
I wouldn't bet on us having a decent summer at this moment in time.

We need 16 points from 19 games to be sure.
We are currently above a point a game so it's more than doable with the same squad at least.

There's doable and actually doing it and that looks a million miles away from where I'm sitting.

This isn't a time for a head in the sand approach, we need to open our eyes wide and look at the state we're in and that's in the do dah without a doubt!

Yep, it's that simple, if he isnt sacked we ate going to get dragged into a relegation battle as it's obvious that players are not playing for him.

Btw got back from llandod about 30 mins ago, had a great night there as I didn't let te debacle get me down

I only went the game because the eldest was gagging to go 🙄

I won't be going again until he's gone.
