It’s mid-May 26, let’s hop into my time travel machine and look back at the last six months and do a good and bad review of the 25/26 season. Bad… We should never have employed Will Smith. We should never have given Tonda Eckert the managers job. We should never have employed Gary O’Neil. We should have employed Steve Cooper earlier. We should have signed a striker and GK in January. We should have sacked Johannes Spors. We should have been more organized and protested more loudly against Banana Republic. Saints could have got to the semi’s if we’d played a full strength side in the quarter finals. Good… For such a sh1t season finishing sixth wasn’t a bad result. Keeping Oriol for next year is a bonus. Leo Scienza deserved the fans player of the year award. If we can keep the manager and key players then we should push for a play-off spot next year. Pompey got relegated. Saintnicks knighthood in January was wholly appropriate.
