Nardi has a vampiric fear of coming for crosses, and seems to have declined at QPR with one thing and another.

Hamer unconvincing, and badly at fault for their opener at the weekend.

Walsh injured, and not clearly the answer either.

How much of a priority is a new one in January?

Poll: What do you expect from the Charlton game?

We haven't seen much of Walsh on league games although I'm told he wasn't great in the cup games.
Surprised Hamer was beaten at the near post but apart that cross he missed he wasn't too bad and good last week.
That said, I imagine the club will be on the lookout for another custodian.

Rumour has it we were in for Dieng, yep, that Dieng who we sold to Boro, and then the transfer window shut before we could get it done.

If true, it would be for well below what we sold him to them for. Downside is AFCON runs until Jan 18th, so chances are he may be in that squad and not available for half of Jan. Or we sweat it out until then.

Hammer has been okay, and even Nardi is not that bad. Walsh will return by the end of December, I think, so we shall just have to defend better until then.

zzzzzzzzzz

Stephan said after the game yesterday that Walsh is fit again now, back training again.

I bet he shakes like a shitting dog with the nerves.

I hope there is a good keeper in there though.

Shouldn’t be anywhere near first team yet

I never lie but I don't always tell the truth

I hope we stick with Hamer for a little longer, even when Walsh is fit. It's one less position to worry about and he seems up for it. I think JCS would normally do better for the first goal.

Hamer distribution and presence in the box makes him first choice, as there are to many ????? for the other two.
