Cirkin seems many weeks off, like Lampety. I would prefer JCS or Larkeche at LB; Adamson is not an LB and will get caught out against tougher oppo.
Adamson played very well on Sat, but I suspect that was because the oppo wasn't that great, rather than him becoming a Champ LB.
JS says he's a RB, but I would like to see him at DMC, as Adamson's passing seems quite decent and he has the legs to get about them.
Madsen and Kamara, fitness-wise, seem to be subs at best. So, I suspect it will be Varane and Vale in the middle against Bolton. Which will allow Edwards to partner Dunne in defence and let JCS move over to LB, which he's played before.
I am also guessing JS will also change it to Burrel and Kone upfront, as he may suspect Bolton might be very defensive against us and will want to surprise them. For the wings it may be Chair and Poku. Saito will be the surprise dropped player, which will be unusual; as if you score, JS usually keeps you in the team.
Morgan I like as a young player, gets about, scores the odd goal. I would not loan him out just yet, as the Champ can be a brutal season. We are already down two injuries with Kemper and Madsen, and only one game in. We may need Morgan as a useful squad player, as he can play 6,8,10 and even RB if we get desperate. |

So, no, they are not leaving; as if they did, they would not have the London lifestyle. There is a reason this is a world-class city: it's because it's world-class!
Yes, they could leave, but then it would be to some hellhole like Dubai, where the drones are freely arriving from Iran. No point being rich if you're under constant bombardment (actually it's mostly safe, but the rich don't think like that).
We need an exodus tax to stop them ferreting away their wealth, followed by a tax on anyone with assets of £20m or more. If said assets are stuck in, say, that expensive manor to run, no worries; we can pay them off and solve housing issues all at once. But what happens if the manor is historical (welcome to the National Trust)? Or, if it needs work, get the Army in to do it up as top-class housing for the Armed Forces personnel, then use the old Barracks to house asylum seekers, and use the money saved on all of that to build real houses for key workers and bring the cost of living down hard!
Or you can believe Reform that a tax cut to the rich will somehow be passed onto the working class and not some Bankers who will squirrel it away in the Cayman Islands ... yeah right! [Post edited 19 Aug 17:22]

Charity ads are the worst, its enough we have several days of Red Nose whatsit without all this other stuff.
Also, I notice the CEO's of most of these earn mega money compared to the rest of us. So, you see, for them, charity does begin at home, their personal homes.

Prosecute to the full extent of the law.
Make them pay large compensation of tens of thousands to the firefighter directly.
Get them to do a video stating that owning an XL bully is stupid, and they regret it all, which gets them only 1 day of their sentence and only one day. |

There could be method in this madness.
Sign youngish players with bad injury records on the cheap or for nothing, double up at every position, and when they get injured, hope the replacement can step in long enough for the original player to recover and return.
You see, if you give up and expect to get injuries to key players anyway, then what does it matter if you sign a load of young (this is the key part) freebies with bad injury records? As we get injuries no matter who they are.
And you never know, just like Field, one day they may actually shrug off their injury records (don't laugh at the back there, it disrupts the people laughing at the front). |

Before we signed that Boy Kemper I said we would need two as Esq is not up to it and Larkeche may not have recovered. I bet JS said hes not going into another season without a LB and a demanded two of them.
I would say they will move on Esq and Larkeche will be loaned out for sale later on, once he proves his fitness.
As we are being greedy, can we have that B2B mid now and, even more greedy, a number 9.
I read reviews of Obikwu (from other teams of course as he never plays for us), despite his height, he seems to be more of a pace merchant like Burrell rather than a hold-up man.
George Hirst on loan perhaps. Greed is good! |

Good point, but Dembele/Poku play on the right, and Smyth can, as we know.
But yeah, the point is it blocks all the others, unless one of these is sold.

Junior Nkeng seems to play on the LW.
Which means if we sign him, then one of Saito, Chair and Smyth will be on their way.
I suspect this means Saito will be transferred, as we don't pay £850k for them to only play in the DS.
Seen only one video of him and looks to have great control. Also, looks like a unit unlike Saito. |

Now Glen Kamara is in, I would look at a player like Ross Stewart on a 1+1 deal.
We need a backup for Kone.
But even if we didn't get any more players, I am content with what they have done so far. They have attempted to fix lots of gaps from last year.
In a greedy world, I would like a backup No9, B2B Mid, backup LB and, for proper outrageousness, a top-class young CD. But that is all fantasy. |
