When fans sing 'he's one of our own " I am not sure there are many who fit the bill as much as our Kevin. He was the boy they couldn't buy when he scored all those goals in the youths, he was a phenom when he broke though to the first team, he was arguably the best young goalscoring talent in the country until his injury. Despite that he was a part of two great Rangers teams. Still lives and breathes blue and white. Forever our brother in hoops. See Kevin in a pub before an away game and the world is alright.

That injury at Portsmouth was a real sliding-doors moment for both of us. We had the best striker in the league at the time and still a strong side capable of pushing for a quick return. Knocked the stuffing out of us and we slid down over the yrs, Kev was never really the same again, even though he was pivotal in that classic 00s team that dragged us back up.
And honestly, in the 30 years since his debut, we haven’t actually produced a better player. Produced, not like Eze or Chair.

I was stood behind the goal at Fratton Park when that Injury happened, Kevin actually screamed as It happened, It was an awful moment. You see Kevin at away games supporting QPR, Cardiff and Colchester as an example.
My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.
