Pies (and staff): excellent; can't vouch for the beer as not a drinker, hot choc usual standard;
Crowd: excellent (other than some unnecessary Nardi criticism).
Hamer injury: hopefully not as bad as it looked when he didn't move at all for about 40 secs. Walked off, looked okay, if a little shaky.
Smyth Goal: you know your luck is in when a teeny-tiny-ten scores with a header;
MoM: opinions will vary, but Burrell kept running for 90 mins, and boy is that lad quick;
Car Parking - 15 quid! My house cost less than that. Shame on you, Blackburn.

A fantastic 3 points.
A completely different game to Saturday and still found a way to win.
However Blackburn did have 2 huge chances that they missed so the game could easily have gone the other way. Fantastic save from Nardi as important as our goal.
I thought Kolli for Burrell should have been a sub on 70 minutes - Burrell looked tired.
Smyth is a little nugget - Very important squad player and needs a new contract.
Field - Mr reliable 3 games filling in at left back 3 clean sheets.
Cook / Dunne - Won all their headers
Chair - I am his biggest critic so if he carries on like this it's a huge slice of humble pie for me
Squad - We could change the whole outfield 10 Saturday with decent replacements which shows the huge improvements in quality

Probably thinks the new contract is not good enough and he may be right. I guess a bit like Dunne last season we will reach an agreement. The risk Smyth takes though is he is only a bad injury (ACL or similar) away from not having any income after June. | | | |
