I've not seen any real hype for the DS, except perhaps my own on the odd occasion! For me, it's the best collection of youngsters for a good while. While I don't think we get a steady stream of players for the first team coming through, I do think we'll get 2 or 3 over the next few years which is more than we have seen for a long time. |

CBs Akinidileni (18) is left footed, as is Noah McCann (20) who is currently on loan at Tonbridge. |

Ditto FDC. Cook's form is tanking - is he losing interest a bit? And, let's face it, JCS could be out for months yet again. Morrison is fine but it does feel like we need strengthening in the CB area. I've have pretty high hopes for Smith and Akindileni but it's too soon for them to be relied upon for the rest of the season.
I feel sure we have some of the Eze funds available but much will depend on the price Soton puts on Ronnie's head. |

I think we'll all take that result. A better second half but we were under par overall. Our passing today was shocking for some reason. Still, dust ourselves down and move on to the next game. Starting 11 selection will be interesting. |

I agree with you on Smyth. If he left, we may miss him but you'd expect that or why was he here in the first place?
We have enough players for his position so if the club feels it's best to let him go and he wants a different opportunity, fair enough. I'm sure most would wish him the very best. I certainly would. |

He received the ball where he does best; centrally in the opposition's penalty area. That's where he should play. Burrell can buzz around the place, still score goals and provide assists as he did twice yesterday. Kone, however, needs to be the lead striker. |

Just putting this Tylon Smith interview here - https://www.espn.co.uk/espn/st - for those who feel we should sign Ronnie Edwards next month. As I and a number of posters have said, we need to start giving our most promising youngsters some first team playing time. The article hints Smith might get some minutes. |

As good as reports have been about Murphy Cooper's loans, I remain unsure if he'd make it in the Championship. There must be a reason why he's repeatedly been farmed out on loan. |
