Zim so unlucky there with their Maldon & Tiptree hotshot. So nearly pulled it off but two moments of class from Egypt’s two Premier League players was the difference. I’ve seen four of the five matches played so far and the football’s been fantastic and highly competitive especially for the first round of group games. Another great AFCON group game finished. Mozambique 3 Gabon 2. Very impressed with the Mozambique keeper Ernan Siluane, 27 years old and 27 international caps. 6ft 1. Confident control of his area. Good at collecting crosses. Great anticipation. Good shot-stopper. Decent distribution. Ticking all the goalkeepery boxes. So far played all his club football in Maputo. Conceded two today but Mozambique under the cosh for most of the second half as they defended their lead. Previous game kept a rampant Côte d'Ivoire down to just one goal. If any one at QPR is reading this, this scouting report is free. Next one includes a fee, add-ons and a percentage of any signing-on fee.
