Great report, many thanks!

Good point re. Wednesday's kit, it looked like something designed in the 80s but deemed too awful to actually wear.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Great report, with lots of issues to cover and make sense of following the strangest of 3-0 wins.

Thank you again Clive - and for all your superb work and fortitude over the Christmas and New Year period.

"Not the worst Dominic Iorfa" - absolutely. Am I the only one who thinks 'White Hart Lane' at this point?! I swear THAT shot is still travelling skyward 35 years on....

I'm still amazed that Iorfa's shot against Leeds didn't crack the Loft in half. If he could have aimed his shots, he would have been amazing.

Suffering since 1978.

Awful kit. Maybe it was because I had the sun in my eyes in the Paddocks but their players could hardly be seen against the crowd.

QPR must read your reports. The FA Youth Cup game has been moved to Hanwell Town

Not a surprise Sam Field did well when he came on, exactly the kind of player that would approach a game like this in the right way. No taking thngs for granted or resting on a big previous performance against former managers... That's why you remove the likes of Field, Dunne & Smyth from Championship teams at your peril.

As for the overall performance - it was mostly fine. We should have been ahead by more first half, and after the previous 3 games it was more about result than performance, but this is still a team with a lot more to give and a manager that needs to have learned lessons from the Christmas fixtures and be willing to act on them 2nd half of the season.

Little word on our home form too - think that's as many home wins by Jan as we've managed in the last 5 or 6 seasons across 23 games. SW was a gimme, but it's not an easy league this season and that was a big issue. Credit where it's due.

Yes good point. Partly because we’ve spent relatively a large amount on transfers this season and because we’ve started well (after the first three matches) that expectations have risen and people then tend to be disappointed with any dips. Also I think Julien doesn’t have quite the love that Martí had we tend to be less forgiving, maybe?

Lilac is obviously a traditional colour as they had a revolting silver and lilac away kit in the Wilkinson era. Finlux 86-87.

Kevin Pressman in 90s vomit goalkeepers shirt, purple shorts, green socks. Enjoy.

It's surprising that this aspect of visibility isn't taken into consideration when designing a kit. One reason green kits often don't work.
