Lost Olise, then Eze, and now Guehi going and Glasner's had enough.

Even if you do well, you just get picked off by the corporate teams. Nailed in relegation battle next season.

Heard they are merging with Bristol City.
They'll be Bristol Palace.

They are an established PL side with a good youth set up and although could lose Wharton and Mateta as well think they will be ok.There doesn’t appear to be any outstanding teams in the championship this year so could be same teams go back down.
They will join the boring mid table teams that tread water every season and collect the cash my team included.

Rumour that Mateta may also be on the way out. Surely they don’t need the money after all those sales???

18 months left, so taking the money if offered I guess. In fairness they would be right to have confidence they can scout some decent replacements and put themselves in a strong financial position to do so.

Well, they've borrowed £125 million to build their new stand, which will apparently cost £200 million. That means they need to find something like £75 million from somewhere else.

Thanks for info. But they also don’t want a shiny new stadium in the Championship I’m guessing? I take the point though they have been good at unearthing players.

Meanwhile the Death Star signs another excellent player despite the 115 charges.

I think Glasner leaving is probably their biggest issue, he will be harder to replace.

Yup, always going to happen. Work your nuts off for a few years and put together a good team and eventually it gets broken up as the corporate teams snaffle all your best players.

At least they won the FA Cup, Charity Shield and got to play in Europe. Most clubs don't get to win anything then still lose everything they worked hard to build up.

My best mate is Palace and that's how he sees it.

He got to see Palace win a trophy (two if you include the Charity Shield or whatever it's called these days) and saw them play in France.

At this point he's playing with house money. It'll probably never be that good again but at least it was.
