There’s a story about one of the Saints ladies being diagnosed with autism.
I’m a big skeptical on these diagnosis . She said she felt differently to everyone else at school. Dosent everyone??? When I was at school there’s was one fat kid and one really naughty child in a class of 30. Now half of them are obese and can’t sit still , full to the brim on sugar . don't exercise and can’t socialize . It really isn’t rocket science .

A sensitive and thoughtful post.
My Granddaughter will be here tomorrow for Easter lunch.
She will sit at the end of the table with her hoodie up, wearing noise cancelling headphones the whole day.
We'll tease her gently about the Easter bunny and she will say something like "chocolate is toxic to rabbits"
It'll be a good day...even better if Saints can find a way tonight. |
And they Did! What a great weekend.
On this topic I highly recommend a very beautiful (and a true story) of a film called Temple Grandin. About a severely autistic girl of the same name.

It’s certainly not for my daughter. Non verbal until 6, but she would
happily stim, flap her arms, him to herself and have a wonderful
time wearing out the carpet.
With amazing support from my wife (and her primary school(Teachers) she’s now doing well at secondary school, BUT every day is a challenge.
She masks it well at times, but then will explode.
