Turned it down as I thought I was going to the match today
Bug Club are great live, saw them at the wedgewood rooms last year and they were excellent

I was offered a ticket to see SFA last night at Brixton last week
Turned it down as I thought I was going to the match today
Bug Club are great live, saw them at the wedgewood rooms last year and they were excellent
Lonsdale Slipons and Quality Pints in particular a great tunes |
I booked the SFA (with Bug Club as support) ticket when I knew I was going to be In London today but before I knew the play-off final kick off time. When I found out KO was going to be half past four I thought I might have trouble getting from Wembley to Brixton in time for The Bug Club so at least that’s one (very minor) problem solved now.
I’ve seen The Bug Club in Cologne and Bristol before and love them to bits. I don’t need much of an excuse to go and see them again so when I saw they were supporting SFA I jumped at the chance. Their new album is out very soon.
SFA aren’t bad either but I’ve not seen them live before this is one gig where I didn’t want to be late and miss the support act. Something for the Weekend?
I’m feeling very depressed at the moment so might have some retail therapy on merch if they’ve got anything good.
PATTB always do a pre-Xmas gig in Frankfurt. I haven’t made it to one of those yet as I’m normally in the UK for Christmas but it’s on my to do list. | |

Seen SFA a few times, albeit over 20 odd years ago and they were always fantastic, supported by Goldie Lookin Chain a couple of times
Already ahead of you on the retail therapy, the money I would have spent on today has gone on new lp's by Little Barrie, The Coral and Hannah Peel which are all excellent. Also bought John Robb's autobiography
Boards Of Canada release their first lp in 13 years next week and I'm very excited about getting that | |
