Another pre season friendly or the start of the fully competitive season ahead !!
I think this fixture has the potential for us to start the season on such a massive high. It could be a massive chance to throw a statement out to other championship clubs that QPR mean business this season.
There is zero excuse to rest any players for this game. Yes, they could get injured, but then again, any player could get injured in our first league encounter. Its not the start of a three game week, its a home game, so no long distance travel and its at a decent time on Saturday afternoon. Probably our fiercest London rivallry in terms of current league standings also. And then, to get fans onside from minute one of the new season. Lets go out and win the football match. The players too would get a massive boost with how brilliant the fans would be, if we managed to progress.
Will Millwall take it seriously is unimportant, we really should play absolutely our strongest available eleven supplemented by our strongest available bench.
Why would we do anything different to this ?

its a saturday...yes there was one on a saturday 6 years ago, but that was covid, no one was allowed in.

if that mob can bring 3,000 surely we can treble that and get the ellerslie road stand open.
if you are genuine qpr fans then this competition means something, its not a friendly, its a competition that we won at wembley 60 years ago, so do not disrespect it.
as i said before, if it was an away game at fulham, brentford or any top premier team, we would fill the allocation.
