This is another problem caused by not having a centre forward. Tonda said as much after the game - he said part of the reason for selecting Abbott was that Larin was not on the pitch.

I thought it was a professional performance last night without any dramatics. To the neutral there was probably not much to get excited about. But, it was a good away win and very much needed as our away results had been letting us down.
If we can win at the weekend, 9 points in a week will be a great return. But, Bolton have started turning a corner, so we can't afford to be complacent. West Ham away the following week will be a different kettle of fish - perhaps the ultimate test of our ability, resilience and prospects. | | | |
