Absloutely ridiculous. Talk about heavy handed.

Perhaps it was an attempt to deflect attention from the official launch video. Last year's one was humorous, self-deprecating, and got hundreds of thousands of Internet hits. This year, we obviously thought it would go the same way. Alas, some bright spark thought it would be good to have the players talk, and get Stephen Fry involved, presumably to publicise it via twitter.

It's awful.

Norwich chief executive David McNally said the club would always take steps to protect their property.

He said: "We are the guardians of the football club whilst we're here and so we will protect our property.

"And our property in the digital age involves our intellectual property, so we won't allow anybody to come in and take it from us."

He wasn't even the one who leaked it. Norwich inadvertently made the image live on their website, and he grabbed it before it was taken down

And that should be his defence... The information had already been placed in a public place by the club...

Intellectual property is the reason Arsenal ditched their old crest:

As for Norwich, shouldn't the people who made the shirt have been arrested?
