Now we have added Green, Nielsen and AJ for some much needed premiership experience do you think Hughes is going to look at adding any flair players this transfer window?

IMO he would be just the type of player I would now want to see added to the squad, building upon the experience and quality we already have.

Which realistic flair players would you now look to add? I think we only need 1 or 2 Hoilett and Sigurdsson would be quality but maybe out of our budget/reach

To be honest I'm most worried (perhaps unnecessarily) about our central midfield. That's what I'm most keen for us to bolster... Even if signing Diakite is a given.

But all last season I've been concerned that while SWP continues to mis-fire, how we are lacking an 'old-school' winger. I think Mackie is fantastic, but he's never going to be someone who whips quality crosses in. That's where i'd like to see us add someone.

When we got promoted we said needed to ditch the old guard and get in players with Premiership experience.

Then as the season went on we said, well, actually the old guard is good and these Premiership players we have got in aren't much cop.

Now we are saying it's good that we've gotten in more players with Premiership experience.

Great article that. If true, and no reason to doubt it, indicates what we had all hoped: these recent signings are to give us cover and experience, but more is to come in the shape of younger more dynamic players. Very positive.
