I'm a bit incredulous about this thread, particularly having suffered years of utter dross up front...how there can be anything other than satisfaction with Kone and excitement about how the future for us looks for us if we can retain him, is beyond me. |

I'll get hit for this but women football commentators (not pundits) are too screechy. The women on TMS are excellent - plus i've got a bit crush on Isa Guha. |

Right, well you take the Mrs Brown's Boys sober punishment...I'll do something else. |

His goal yesterday in terms of finish and celebration was pure Austin. |

Yeah Tyldsley was unlistenable too. Thankfully retired. Disappointingly i saw an interview with him reflecting on his career and he came across as decent sort. |

Up this ridiculous post in error...what's my punishment. |

He's the best and most natural striker we've had in years and years, and if he stays fit he's just gonna get better and better. If he had an extra yard of pace, he could make it to the very top in time. |

Ireland were magnificent, England showing that last week was no off day. Utterly clueless. |

Thought we'd do well in this tournament...batting on paper is superb. But the scrape past Nepal clearly wasn't just an off day. Worrying. |

Classic right time right place at Brentford, big fish small pond that doesn't translate onto appalling expectation and politics of the bigger clubs. Potter springs to mind. |

It doesn't come across as personal Robith at all. You're clearly much more gemmed on the game than i am (genuinely) and it's good to read your perspective. Just giving my viewpoint - i don't really follow club rugby much except a couple of matches a season at Esher RFC. |

My Arsenal mates calls Ebs a luxury player which he maybe in that large pond. when i see him in the side, he's definitely on the periphery of the game, some nice passes and touches but not imposing himself like he did at Palace and us. |

Fair enough to a point, but whilst England was touring in Arg, Ireland challenged themselves with Portugal and Georgia i think. |

Good article in The Times yesterday, essentially whilst Farrell was overloading the Lions team with his regular but ageing go-to Irish players, England were developing their up and coming stars on one of the most difficult tours, Argentina, where they won both matches. |

Just back. Rugby needs a strong Welsh side....they are light years from being that. |
 | Forum Thread | 20 MPH at 11:54 29 Jan 2026
Ok, i know it's my fault but really... Already had 3 points and then in the space of 2 months picked 1 x 24mph in a 20 and 2 x 23mph. All on the same road, a main wide A road that was 40mph not so long ago. So about to lose my licene for 6 months. Rang the police phone number as instructed, nice guy i spoke to said they literally can't cope with the volume of 12 pointers coming through since 20 mph became a mainstream thing. Still at least the council can spend it on rainbow pedestrian crossing etc. Grrrr. |
