If it isn't Harry, then I want a youg hungry manager e.g. Robinson or Poyet. I'd rather keep Hughes than splurge on Sven.

This. And I suspect for many others too.

The death knell for this club if he's ever involved in any capacity.

So you still went when Hart was the manager , but you wouldnt go if Sven was ?

Remarks like that are cheap but you dont half look silly if someone reads it then sees you take your seat at the next game .

He is not ideal but better than some stupid suggestions like Curbishley .

Why Neil, is Sven really the terrible manager everyone says he is, he's had some success and arguably did as well as anyone since Venables as England boss.

Couldn't exactly see him motivating our bunch of mercenaries. If anything I would expect him to sit with them, compare wage packets and laugh at Tony's naievity.

It's just everything about him and his lack of morals and ethics.

I wrote something along similar lines a while back:
http://www.qprtoday.net/2010/02/11/oh-please-no/

He's got worse and even more farcical since then and some of the stuff he's got involved in over the years has been sickening and lacking in class or care.

For everything about Paul Hart, he's actually a genuine football man but wasn't very good at his job at senior level. This goes beyond just being a manager, it's a matter of principle for me.

benitez is going chelsea , redknapp has given tf until friday and then he is going to take the international position because tf has given hughes the united match at least.
so it has to be sven personally i would rather have had harry but obviously not tf .
i guess at the moment anything is better than hughes so would accept sven if it happens as it looks most likely now although tf is not back yet so who knows if tf saw the banner last week on tv like i imagine he would have then if he does as he said and puts the fans first then you would think harry will have the job before friday.

He's a clown, plain and simple.

He devalued the importance of the national team in this country and didn't show the job, role, or position of responsibility the respect it deserves.

I don't view anything he did as successful for England. He did a disgusting and thoroughly embarrassing job.

Like I mentioned, it's more than just the football side. He came to the most "important job in the world", the "home of football" as he even put it himself and treated it with such disrespect.

This kind of stuff is sacred to me, just like Rangers and football is.

why do QPR fans want a big name? We moan about the big name players who see this as a step down and a pay day then want a manager who would be the same.

Why don't we look for someone who sees this as an opportunity and who wants to be here, someone Like Malky Makay, Gus Poyet or Holloway. Might not be as sexy as name as Redknapp or Sven but imo would do a better job and help give the club it's soul back.

Big backward step if Sven came, better to stick with Hughes.

Sven had the single greatest central midfielder this country has produced since Bobby Charlton in Paul Scholes and he played him on the left wing. Enough said, he has England best squad for a generation and did nothing with it
