Whats happened to our club ?? I can accept defeats and poor performances, most have us have been weened on that particular diet but the club is no longer ours, it feels as though a old boys club from Accrington and Merseyside have just rode roughshod all over our club and the Chairman and directors have just sat back and watched them drag the club down.
We have players who have yet to start games who warm the bench and pick up a wage (ex accy), we have players who blatantly cheat/ no discipline and today we have a allegation of one of our players using racist insults on a kick out racism day.
The club is being dragged into the gutter by this lot and its about time the Chairman started acting like a life long fan of the club and start to smell the roses. This lot are a bad lot and they are dragging the club down !!

The way things are heading on the field it may well be academic what the board and it's members want. I for one am worried sick about the remainder of the season, no consistency. Bad management, shocking play acting and lack of discipline, fans turning against one another. Empty terraces and season tickets not being renewed by long term stalwarts....Could it be worse? | |

It is rapidly becoming the case that I for one may be joining the stay away fans, something I thought I would never ever say. And I have been on the terraces since 1968 and have seen some terrible times, and although some times were worse for sure it has never felt this bad for me....The info I gave to three fans has since been confirmed to them from a number of sources, it will come into the public domain for sure eventually, these things always do.... | |

At times like this you got to wonder who nails the final nail in the coffin
Is it the fans who say there not going to go to a match/not buy season ticket
so that gives the board less ability to deal with the situation.
Has fans of the Club you should sit it out and place faith in your board .
Me personally find it hard to believe any football lge club would want to go into none-lge football how would that benefit the directors.

Your first paragraph is spot on TS, as I said to Judd a couple of weeks back there are things going on up at the Dale that you wouldn't believe. Or maybe you would after your thoughts on the board (or some members of it) are quite happy for the club to go non league, and before anyone starts to jump in with comments like "No way would our board or members thereof do that" I have personally heard 2 directors say as much........The way this club has been run since Hill left is nothing short of disgraceful ...... |
That is seriously worrying, but I don't see the reasoning behind it. Why would any board member want their team relegated, and be still in a job, by a chairman, who supposedly has the clubs best interest at heart. |  |
