7/7 lack of media coverage 22:34 - Jul 7 with 2360 viewscalders

Disgusting lack of media coverage to the memory of 52 innocent people who lost their lives to terrorist attacks London, virtually no coverage, and nothing from our prime minister who decided a jolly up at Wimbledon was more in order. why.

Very much doubt that.

We will always have you & the Daily Mail to remind us.

It is shameful that the media have chosen to stay away from this, and concentrated on a massive British weekend of sport winners.

Still ......

It's not what you've got; it's where you stick it.

I'd rather it was left in the past. The more it gets mentioned, the more the govt will use it as an excuse to fk with the people.

I never heard it mentioned full stop. I didn't even remember.

September 11th is my birthday :-(

Today's headline:

"Secondary schools have been ordered closed across Nigeria's north-eastern state of Yobe after a massacre in which suspected Islamist extremists killed 22 students and torched their school. Yobe Governor Ibrahim Gaidam condemned as "cold-blooded murder" Saturday's attack on the Mamudo boarding school.
Nigeria blamed Islamist militant group Boko Haram - which targeted two schools in the region in June - for the attack.

The group's name translates as "Western education is forbidden".

I would prefer it isn't shoved down our throats and over sentimentalised for the sake of it...

People should remember it themselves... It is important as it was an extremely sad day but also good to see how Londoners stuck together and helped each other out...

If you need the sun to cover it to remind you... Shows its not the most important
Thing o you!!

It was the eighth anniversary. Why would you expect coverage on the eighth anniversary? There'll be plenty in two years' time. On the 10th anniversary.
