Immense game tonight! Players that didn't seem bothered at all put in a great, immense shift! That's what I love football for!, like the games against Cardiff or Luton for us (my two immediate memorable memories)!
An immense midfield and defense won it for us. The future's bright! Varanne and Sakho were immense, and the midfield of Cabaye, Matuidi and especially Pogba was stunning. When you think most of these are about 20 years old, the future's bright!

I was in a pub with Portugal and France both on, so I could admire and compare Ronaldo and Ribery's fantastic skills and stand-out twättishness side by side. Kudos to Ribery for rolling in feigned agony and simultaneously waving an invisible yellow card without breaking any fingers. |  |

So France can just about beat Ukraine by scoring one more goal - that's the same Ukraine who couldn't beat a decidedly average England. Let's face it unless you are from Spain or Germany progressing past the 1/4 finals isn't that likely. |  |

Yes the Benzema goal was offside, 4 minutes after he had another goal ruled off for offside when he was clearly onside, so luck averages out there
As for Ribery, he did milk it too much for my taste, but was kicked repeatedly over the two games, and it was a foul deserving of a yellow card, which the guy got. He should not lunge at players like that when on a yellow [Post edited 20 Nov 2013 15:01]
