Shame for Barbet to make the mistake for the pen but fantastic interception at the end of the first half from him.
Albert just didn't get the first touch near the end and the ball was always going across him then. I'm not sure Dykes heard Austin's shout to leave it at the very end but I think Dykes was still entitled to go for it and it was a great effort, although I think Austin would have scored if he had left it.
Whatever, fair result and Blackpool play decent football.

Having seen the highlights, I’m not sure about the penalty. Looked like he’d pushed the ball too far and went over. But I suppose we got a little lucky with the disallowed goal. |  | | |

Soft penalty IMO but maybe the ref was looking to make up for the disallowed goal.Did anybody notice the Lino was in radio contact with the Ref after his decision unlike our Sunderland fiasco when the ref just went with the flag being raised.
Albert should have blasted that ball across the net its always either a goal or save and tap in rebound.
Thought Charlie would have headed home that winner for sure if Dykes let it go but what a cross amazing.

Agree with all of this. Not sure if they're told not to shoot across the keeper but Chair often shoots near post as well when the far post seems the better option. |  | | |
