That's a good question but I think it can be said that Rodgers has done a decent - but not amazing - job because he has at least delivered an FA Cup...

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Yes - If they were premier league strikers they would score 10-12 goals a season for a upper half club (Brighton for eg) and move on every 3 or 4 years. As Eamon Dunphy used to say; good managers but not great managers

Lots of angst up here in Leicester this season about City's performances, but they all seem to have a bit of a delusion now that they are a much bigger club than they actually are simply because of the wonderfully successful last 5 years they've had.

Leicester is not a big enough club, or city, to sustain that level of success for years on end and they are simply having a bit of a correctional season this year in the natural cycle of football where they dip whilst others rise. But because perspective and context is completely lost on the modern day football fan everything is Brendan Rodgers fault and if they had a different manager they'd definitely be top four still. If they got rid of Rodgers they will, in my opinion, completely regret it within twelve months, I think the bloke is a brilliant manager. They were tumbling down the league like there was no tomorrow with Puel in charge until they got rid of him and brought Rodgers in.

Watching City in the friendly against us last year I came away thinking they'd struggle a bit more this season and so it has come to pass so far. But they are still comfortably in the top flight, still in with a chance of a top half finish and even sneaking into a European spot, and for a club and city that size that is still success. But because they won the league five years ago its completely distorted any sense of realism amongst some City followers.

On that last point, don't think you can really blame them.

Lets just say we make the play offs this season, don't go up and then are bumbling around in midtable next season - lets see how calmly WE all react!
