| Newcastle's spending 15:21 - Aug 26 with 1323 views | RangersDave | An awful lot of money, when you consider just how many teams can be truly successful in the premiershyte. £63m for Isak today , just 1 example. | |

| Newcastle's spending on 15:57 - Aug 26 with 1156 views | ThGrimRanger | I'd wager the phrase "we don't want to do a QPR" has been uttered a few times in the Newcastle boardroom this summer. High potential, young and hungry players on the way up not washed out big time charlies on the way down. Seems obvious in hindsight - if only we knew :-( [Post edited 26 Aug 2022 16:00]

Yes, Eddie Howe and their DoF (or whatever his title is) seem to have their heads screwed on as opposed to our lot when we were there. I know it is Saudi money, but I want them to knock Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea off their perch until the next club enters the big spenders group. | | | |
