I've said this before and I'll keep saying it!
I get into the ground 50 minutes from kick off and watch the players run through their pregame training passing balls to themselves and shooting int the goals provided,
The nets bulge and ripple and the players are obviously very pleased with themselves.
The problem is, there is no one in the way, no defender, no dummy, nothing just a good (if not short) third string goalie and they fire past him.
Then they play the game, don't shoot and do anything but...pass pass pass on the penalty area, in the penalty area and the look on their faces is 'who are all these other players in the way?
Please shooting coaches, get some mannequins in front of the shooting practice goals, dress them up in the opposing teams colours so the presence of the other team does not come as a shock to the players during the game!
