Injuries Data 16:54 - Apr 7 with 1973 views | GaryHaddock | Can't think of a season injury wise like this one before, except maybe the season we had to play 36 different keepers, but it made me wonder if the increase is trending across football in general. Apparently it is generally, in the elite leagues anyway. Came across this which I found interesting reading: https://www.howdengroupholdings.com/reports/2023-24-mens-european-football-injur My guess, it's down to contract uncertainly and forcing transfers. Players in less secure circumstances are going to treat slight injuries more seriously aren't they. Haven't seen this raised in the football zeitgeist but interesting nonetheless. That's fair, but they didn't invent the numbers they intend to exploit! [Post edited 7 Apr 17:26]

I’ve heard this a few times but don’t know what it means. What’s the story?
Injuries Data on 19:57 - Apr 7 with 1695 views | HammersmithR | Is there a link to how our injuries compare this season to other clubs? You see it often on the tv for the Prem teams. There must be something for our league.

It's a reference to QPR Director of Performance, Ben Williams, having moved abroad to work in at least one other job, still being retained and so working remotely.

Huge numbers of people make careers out of taking numbers and finding ways to interpret and present them which paint their interests in the best light.

Injuries Data on 17:00 - Apr 8 with 1038 views | Juzzie | Apologies to our American fans but I find American English very hard to understand at times. "currently offloaded" I guess means unavailable but it's such a strange way of saying it. Just say unavailable. I remember having a large group zoom meeting a couple of years ago with an English lad (early-to-mid twenties) describing the end-to-end process of digital music delivery. I'm not being facetious but when it ended I had to ask someone for a translation. I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about such was the terminology/language used.

Les Ferdinand has said"getting rid of someone" on more than one occasion Classy
Injuries Data on 18:14 - Apr 8 with 796 views | Lblock | My view on why there's more "injuries" these days is simple:- Pampered Player Power Back in the good ol' days of jumpers for goalposts, (oooh isn't it? Hmmm) players would play through a lot of pain, demand cortisone injections etc as playing meant they got the vital appearance fee and ability for all the other bonuses. Nowadays I reckon 80% couldn't give a shite whether they play or not and that "little twinge" will readily keep them out for weeks. Just look at the collection of C units we had after Beale the Snake left. Modern football. Bollox aint it!
