| Alan Barnes family post 21:52 - Jan 8 with 1038 views | Barnsey | Hi everyone, my name is Jonathan, and I’m Alan Barnes’ stepson and a lifelong rangers supporter. We’ve seen the kind words and tributes beginning to circulate here, and as a family, we are deeply moved by the love shown for Alan. As many of you know, QPR was his life, and the R's community truly was his second family. Alan passed away on Wednesday at the age of 78. While we had hoped for a little more time before sharing the news publicly, we understand how much he meant to you all. He was a steadfast supporter for many decades, and Loftus Road won't feel quite the same without him. We are currently finalizing funeral and memorial arrangements. To keep things organized and ensure everyone who wants to pay their respects can do so, we’ve set up a dedicated email address for updates and tributes: Alanbarnesqprmemorial@gmail.com Thank you for your support and for being such a huge part of Alan's life. | | | | |
