From the Stoke site as we don't seem to have put the Sky extended highlight package on YouTube yet but it is the same thing.
We actually look like a team. Saito is a natural playmaker and on this evidence Chair is going to really have to work to get back into this first 11. Saito brings speed, danger and is constantly looking to provide passes and assists. He also has a rifle of a shot on him. His energy very much drives the team.
Our front line of Burrell and Kone looks so good with Madsen, Saito and Vale in support we look threatening.
Our defence looks a lot more stable, give or take the odd 'play it out from the back' gaff.
Stephan seems to have realised that when you have the pace of players like Burrell and Saito, plus the strength of Kone that going long is a real strength of this current set up. Burrell has insane pace and Saito's is also blistering. He seems to have a first 5-6 yards that leaves defenders on their heels. Really exciting to have this kind of pace and we also have Smyth as well in this area. Kone for me plays like Austin in his pomp. He just barges, shoves, and out muscles defenders and he also has an eye to set things up. Vale could be a real ace up the sleeve for us and he can only get better, I think. The bench was about the strongest we've seen in years and most will be fresh for next week's difficult challenge at Wednesday.
