A scathing report - as befits the situation. Thanks, Clive.

I don't understand the apathy either.

It's as if we as Rangers fans are afraid of ambition, of professionalism, of hunger...

Fair play to you for writing that and I still see people defending Nourry and co on X today, A Shambles of a football club and it won't change

Good job Clive and no it's not just you. I get it every year on here when I want us to at least try in the league cup. Allegedly that's not something our supporters want anymore.

And what I find galling is seeing our management team, pitchside, gawping at that whatchamacallit on a tripod, as if it's the answer. They used to write notes on an empty Woodbine packet and it was better.

Maybe they're watching something better on the other channel?

Even when i played at schoolboy and Sunday league levels, words were said in the dressing room if you lost by 3 without reply and it wasn't entirely unheard of for those words to escalate into a straightener. Uncomfortable in the moment but I'd rather have that than this shìt.

Great report Clive, could not make the game yesterday, so had to watch on Sky. I actually got the feeling that the Sky commentators actually felt sorry that QPR a great club with history were so poor.

I mentioned in another topic that I couldn't be bothered to go to the game yesterday.

I don't feel anger at the moment, I feel dejection. I have been pumping up my optimism for what seems like years now (and it is) and I have run out of the stuff.

There has been so much change at so many levels (CEO, DoF, managers, coaching staff, players, amount of money spent) and it looks like we have gone nowhere, and possibly backwards.

We have spent a lot of cash and still look a long way short of the play-offs. Parity with teams like Palace and Brentford are light years away. We have a lot of injuries, but although I accept that will impact performance, we've been signing injury-prone and 'slight' players.

A couple of years ago we seemed to be on top of the sports science stuff, now we look anything but on top of it.

There seemed to be a few bright sparks at the development levels, but that has fallen apart and few of the cup-winning players look like they will progress to first team regulars.

So, in short, I am done in at the minute. Exhausted at the thought of having to go through years more of shifting and changing to see if we can get it right.

I enjoyed some of our games earlier in the season and allowed 'hope to burn bright'. Now it's looking all gloomy again.

An empty concourse in the lower loft 15 minutes before the game started was depressing enough and was prequel for what was to follow .
We’ve seen this happening year on year and I get the feeling people have had enough.
I’ll renew not because I think we’re going to be successful. I’ve given up on that . I just enjoy meeting up with my mates and it gets me out of the house.
I want to see us win games and we’re not going to do that playing A league players from Australia or hoping against hope that Esqerdinah and Walsh are ever going to be good enough at this level.
This lot are taking the good supporters of this club for fools and I get the feeling they’ve had enough.
Hoping the powers that be read your report this but I doubt it.

This is what I don't get. I've been in training rooms where we've lost by one goal and there's people pinning others against the wall. I would have been totally embarrassed to have been on our side on Sunday. But it's all a giggle to some.

Or rather…another humiliating heavy defeat.

This current line up will not win another game this season. Soft as putty in midfield and technically deficient up front. The development boys are absolutely miles off being ready for this division.

Further humiliation to come and yet Cooke and JCS sit on the bench.

Something is badly wrong with this club and JS is sinking in the quagmire.

The list of methodology specialists quoted by Clive is an absolute disgrace. What an utter and complete waste of money. Sack the lot, bring Warnock in and see the difference in two weeks.
The team looks devoid of confidence, belief and spirit. They are beaten before they step onto the pitch. We simply look broken and the fan base are going/have gone the same way.

Apathy indeed.

Are we ever going to be told what has happened to Chair. What about Madsen's hamstring update from last week, and let's not forget Poku is he still around. What does Nourry think he gains from not allowing injury updates. These players would have made so difference on Sunday, but hayho who in Mangerment cares.

Thankfully I was away this weekend and couldn't go. But after the last few weeks I'm not sure I would've gone even if I had been able to.
There is something deeply rotten within our club. And ultimately you have to point to the people appointing the staff and writing the checks. But it beggars belief that we don't hear a single peep out of the owners ever. Not one.
Why on earth are they continuing to bankroll the club? It makes no sense to me and I can't see how they will ever get any kind of return.

And the Steve Cook thing boils my piss.

Anyway, thanks for the report - I think many would understand if you just posted a picture of a turd and left it at that

Thanks Clive,
Wildly depressing but also horribly accurate.
As I was watching the game I kept asking myself if they were really that good, or if we were just making them look like it. It was a bit of both I guess.
The trouble now is that we’ve spent money to be this bad - previously we could say we were a budget team on a shoestring…but that isn’t the case now.
Way north of £10m and still no midfield.
How does anyone think Varane is anything at all. He is a complete liability - it was almost funny how bad his passing was. Several times we couldn’t find a team mate from six or seven yards.
And we haven’t mentioned Walsh. Heaven help us he is terrible. So bad in fact that I can’t see him as our number two next year. Clear Nardi will be off, Haymer is out of contract. From where I sit I think we need two keepers as Walsh just doesn’t look at this level.
And Saito is a complete passenger in games like Sunday. We may as well have played with ten men.

I very very rarely want the manager to go, and I agree that the manger can’t really be the problem as we’ve churned through so many of them, but clearly JS has checked out and is inspiring nobody. So if he isn’t going to be here next season wouldn’t it be better to change things now?

Similar to some of the comments above, I think I'm just depressed by the whole situation at the moment. Going to Leicester on Saturday and was planning on going to the away game at Preston too but don't know if I can be bothered.

Thing is apart from QPR and watching Wales, I don't really watch that much football anymore especially premier league - it's just not enjoyable.

If there was complete transparency and honesty the fanbase would be angrier and he would come in for more criticism. So better to lie.

Everything is about making Christian and Ben appear as good as possible. Issues you think exist? They don’t. Poor performance? That’s on the head coach. Dodgy signings? You need to give them more time? How can we afford this? Don’t worry we’re selling players for loads of money. Injuries? No we’re mid table for injuries, it’s the modern game.

Around and around we go. All that time and effort put towards making two people look as a good as they can.

Meanwhile where is the focus on actually doing the best for the club? That would involve owning and accepting mistakes to learn from them. It would involve making hard decisions. It would involve treating people well because that stuff pays back in the long run. It would involve fostering unity, not division. It wouldn’t involve all this social media nonsense.

But that isn’t the aim. The aim for Christian and Ben is to get themselves bigger and better jobs and bigger and better football clubs, as soon as they can. We’re a stepping stone to them, and it is all they can sell to any potential players, because it’s all they know and care about.

They aren’t custodians of our club; they are charlatans trying to use it as a stepping stone. Sadly they aren’t qualified for their roles or particularly good at them.

Heroic, Clive - I don't know how you do it.

Two words - "nil return" - would have been totally acceptable and understandable this time, above all other times. That's evidently what the team did.

Spot-on as always.

I posted earlier about leadership. Ruben is throwing £2M a month at this shit-show created by Nourry. Given the direction taken by Nourry it’s going to take a huge job to undo the mess and get a sensible approach. This is on the CEO and his management team and I hope Ruben pulls the trigger. Get a sensible English DoF in asap and re-set.

Issac Hayden commented that the Belgium league is very similar to the Championship yet Nourry is recruiting from SE Asia and badly. What a fecking mess.

Agree with everything said but what the hell has happened to JS. We look poorly coached, wrong tactics and slow to make changes. Perhaps he's lost the dressing room or cycling Ben has peed everyone off.
