Talk of some bloke called Marco Ramkilde on the Carl Leaburn thread. I looked him up and he made one sub appearance at West Brom in the last game of the 19/20 Covid season (22 July 2020, 2-2) and that was that for him and us.
In my brain those two season are like the war years seasons. They don’t really count. I can’t remember most of the games. I was probably piddled watching them on my laptop and not really caring about it all.
I watched a game against Millwall at home all the way through and thought it ended 3-2 to us, apparently it was 4-3. I watched it and missed two bloody goals!
I had a ticket to the midweek game that we were briefly allowed back in for but jacked it in as The Pav was closing down again that night and it was on the telly anyway. A terrible nil niler as I seem to recall but The Pav was warm and I got Guinness brought to my table at regular intervals.
Funny old times they were.
(This isn’t a Covid bonkers, this or that nonsense post, just a ‘do those seasons count’ thing👍🍻)

The Millwall game definitely finished 3-2, we came from 2-0 down to win with a last minute Jordi De Wijs header.
We were rubbish until Christmas and looked like we were going down, then three January signings in De Wijs, Stefan Johansen, Sam Field and Charlie Austin returning completely turned the season around and we were amazing for the rest of the season, and up until Christmas 2021 the following season when were allowed back, then it all went to sh*t again and has been that way pretty much since.
*Edit - 47 points from 24 games from 1 January.
