Both had 1 year left on their contracts and both left their existing clubs by mutual consent (in order to sign for Chelsea I guess?) so…… what gives?
Two very odd signings so I’d be interested to know what the skullduggery, errr sorry…. thought process, is behind it it?

I agree with Dave - they are there for experience - all managers seem to like Henderson, obviously a good pro, will set standars etc - young players will look up to him and Welback to an extent.
Really disappointed they appointed Alonso as I fear he will do well for them. |  |
