Posted up about the 80s team being so underrated.
But this guy falls into this category.
A great leader and such a consistent player now. Always a solid seven out of ten minimum. Has performed extremely well in two different positions and whilst captaining the team. Whole hearted player and 100% effort every game. Pops in with a few goals and assists also. Had one season when him and Rob Dickie were poor, but a top top player and man too.
Loves Rangers and possibly could be here for long time to come also.
Again, a very underrated player. Has played in very different teams for us and has adapted his game effortlessly also.

Yes, ok agree the occasional six, but got a feeling, he will be a player that in years to come, will be seen in much higher regard as a player and as a QPR man, than he is today.

Yes,just think if he wasnât playing -cannot see many winning the headers he does.
I felt slightly guilty voting for Madsen for player of the season with Dunne being so important.
Replaced cook as the essential defender.
Boltonâs main strength was in the air stuff, both defensively and in attack.Dunne as always didnât give an inch

When it was looking like he may be on his way to Sheffield Utd I sent him a note saying how living in Sheffield would be quite different to living in Chiswick. I also told him if he stayed he could become a real Rangers legend and be regarded in the same category as Alan McDonald.

Exactly my point in raising this thread about Jimmy re this era's, Alan Mcdonald. And will be remembered with similar fondness.
He gets the club too and heart definitely on his sleeve. He is an extremely important person for the team and squad, undoubtedly. [Post edited 25 Aug 20:12]
