Adel is a great call for Pike. Hodges could be whoever it is that is trying to enforce FFP in the Football League. Joey with that tache is visually the best Walker, but Harry or even Venables would do a decent job. Steve Palmer for the vicar.

Some films should never be re-made, this being one of them.
I used to say that but my feelings have changed as time goes on. For our era we would say it cannot be done any better but we are all getting older and newer generations think differently. I took my son to watch the new Pink Panther film (Steve Martin) when it came out and he loved it yet I thought it was sh#te compared to (Peter Sellers) ones. When I showed him the original he thought it was dated and not as good. Many of the great shows of my era (70's/80's/90's) are now dated and a newer audiences wants something of 'their' time and look at those older shows as I do with the remakes. Sadly we are just getting older and think nothing can better the original. We must accept that It is of our time and new generations have shows of 'their' time.
On another note as a kid I used to love watching 'On the buses' and I caught an episode on TV a few weeks back and thought it was shockingly bad.
